Benrus Type 1 Class A

Case: Unpolished case with wear from use. Issued April of 1979. The case retains its original "dimple" crown along with the fixed bars original rotatable bakelite 12hr bezel and an original crystal with some crazing.

Dial: Nice light cream original luminous. Dial is in good condition with some minor service marks around the 6 o'clock and 11 o'clock areas.

Handset: Nicely matching cream original luminous hands. The white part of the hands had some minor chipping which was color corrected in-house. 

Movement: Service history unknown but timegrapher reading shows high amplitude and consistent rate within spec for this calibre.  Power reserve also within spec for this calibre. Does not appear to need service. Water resistance is not guaranteed with the current crystal affixed.

Bracelet: Watch comes on an original black nylon single pass strap issued to these watches.

Notes: Benrus Type1 Class A are among our favorite USA issued military watches. This is a very nice example of one.
